So thankful to be American and to live in this amazing country! We had our traditional 4th of July BBQ with family this year and had so much fun. Thanks to everyone who came and contributed! I’m also so thankful to Kyler for planning and preparing the retiring of an old American flag and putting a special program together. It was a powerful reminder of the "why" behind Independence Day.
We had delicious food, some mud volleyball, a slip n slide, the retiring of the flag, some painting crafts and just had a great time overall! And afterwards we hung out with Drew and Rachel and got some yummy dinner. It was a really good day. :)
