Life with this sweet boy has been crazy but also so wonderful.
It’s been a harder recovery for me this time around. I still had preeclampsia symptoms two weeks after Pete’s birth which are less than fun and I also had to have hernia surgery due to it becoming strangulated. Thank goodness for Kyler! He moved our mattress downstairs because it was hard for me to use stairs with all the swelling and pain still and he has been feeding Peter all night time feedings so I can recover. I truly don’t think I’d get through this craziness without him! He is such an amazing husband and life partner.
Anyway, with all of that being said, Peter has been such a sweet little gift of peace and calm. My milk supply is already waning after all of the chaos but he nurses well and drinks formula from a bottle really well.
He is so soft and smells just like heaven, I just love any chance I get to snuggle him close. Safe to say we have been in newborn heaven over here. ❤️
