I just love me a sweet little hospital session with these precious tiny newborns. Real quick before his pictures- here’s a brief explanation of why we named him Peter Simon Wade McCarty. :)
Peter Simon is for the apostle Peter in the scriptures. (Yes we know it’s actually Simon Peter but we knew Peter was supposed to be his first name. 🖤) Kyler and I have both always felt a connection to the apostle Peter and his raw, imperfect yet steadfast desire to follow Christ. He made mistakes like the rest of us but he kept trying and we hope our sweet boy knows that perfection isn’t expected of him either, just trying his best and moving forward little by little.
Wade comes from Kyler’s mission president and wife, Terry and Gina Wade. They made a huge impression on him throughout his mission years and have continued to inspire and motivate us personally and within our marriage. 🖤

And then here’s just a few newborn shots too- around 9 days old so his face is a little less swollen ha ha he was cracking me up with his squinted eyes, like he was very suspicious of what mom was doing ha ha.
